Plantain
Plantain is a term used to refer to a group of flowering plants that are commonly found in fields and other grassy areas. These plants are members of the Plantaginaceae family which includes a variety of species including common plantain English plantain and hoary plantain. Plantains are known for their ability to grow quickly and produce a large number of seeds which can make them difficult to control. In some areas plantains are considered weeds because of their ability to invade cultivated areas and cause allergies and other health problems.
